Staffan-Mitchell Funeral Home, Inc.

As the first funeral home built in Washtenaw County for almost 40 years, the 8,000 square-foot barrier-free building is state of the art. It radiates a warm, home-like atmosphere. The covered entryway is accented with natural gas lights.
Just inside the foyer stands a fireplace and a stained glass memory window, which John Mitchell, Sr. designed himself.
The funeral home is highly adaptable to meet the individual needs of families, with the potential for up to four individual visitation rooms. It can also accommodate a large gathering for visitation or services.
The lounge area has a kitchenette and a separate children's room. The funeral home is equipped with the latest in video/audio equipment. It has a closed circuit television system, which can play a personalized video/audio memorial tribute.
