Timothy Dale Stanley

Of Stockbridge, Michigan

 

Age 57, passed away Thursday, October 13, 2011 at his home with his wife at his side. He was born on June 19, 1954 in Ludington, MI, the son of Morris H. and Ellyn A. (Ingraham) Stanley. Tim grew up in the Houghton Lake area and moved to Stockbridge in 1993. On June 30, 1995 he married his best friend, Nancy (Thompson), and she survives. He was a member of the Rat Pack Harley Davidson riding group for 17 years. In addition to riding his Harley, he enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, and spoiling his grandsons. Tim was also known for his sense of humor and the jokes and pranks he loved to pull on everyone. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Stanley of Stockbridge; his children: Phillip (Jessica) Stanley, Nicole (Brian) Cheesman, John Barnes, and Holly Stanley; his sister, Jennifer (Earl) Jones; and his grandsons: Isaak, TJ, Logan, Adrian, Sir, Landon, and Ian. He was preceded in death by his parents. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. at the Leslie American Legion, 422 Woodworth St., Leslie, MI 49251-9483. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Arbor Hospice Foundation. Arrangements by Caskey-Mitchell Funeral Home, Stockbridge.
