Cameron Faulkner

Cameron David-Joshua Faulkner, of Gregory, Michigan, age 23, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, July 10, 2013. He was born on February 21, 1990 in Anchorage, Alaska, the son of Clifton and Susan (Cox) Faulkner. Cam had been living in the Stockbridge area for many years and graduated from Stockbridge High School. He was a car enthusiast and furthered his passion at work and in his free time. Cameron fully enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and was always there for them when they needed him, in good times and bad – he was a true supporter and an amazing friend. He even arranged a Make-A-Wish trip for his brother Justin which took them on a movie set, saw a music video being made, and went to a professional golf tournament. That was Cameron – he made things happen out of love and compassion. He loved the outdoors and the many seasons of Michigan, especially fishing, boating, and bonfires. He also enjoyed playing soccer and paintball. Surviving are his parents, Susan and Paul Cox of Gregory and Clifton and Wendy Faulkner of Missouri; brothers Adam Cox, Justin Cox, and Wade Cox, all of Gregory; grandparents David and Annie Cox of New Zealand, David Cox and Lynn Beal of Illinois, Gladene Faulkner of Texas, Ron and Cary Sherman, and great-grandfather Papa Bill Jackson of Arizona; two half-brothers Colton Faulkner and Kaden Faulkner, and one step-sister Arielle Tubbs, all of Missouri; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; his extended family, the Stevens of Chelsea; and his canine companions, Sophie and Savanna. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Clifton Faulkner Sr. A Funeral Service will be held at the Staffan-Mitchell Funeral Home, 901 N. Main St., Chelsea, MI 48118, on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Kathy Schell officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery, Stockbridge. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family.
