Howard “Pappy” Flint, Sr.
Of Munith, Michigan
Age 78, passed away on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at Allegiance Health in Jackson, MI. He was born the son of John and Mildred (Smith) Flint on July 21, 1933. On May 24, 1952 he married Mary Ann Baker and she survives. Howard served in the United States Army and he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a 4-H leader and enjoyed working with horses and wintering in Donna, TX. He was well liked by everyone. Most of all, he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Howard (Brenda) Flint Jr. of Munith, Judy Ann (Robert) Kilgore of Munith, and Gwendolyn (Duane) Wright of Munith, nine grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren. Also surviving are his siblings: Dick (Mary Jo) Flint, Barbara (Neil) Daglo, Jaquelyn (Larry) Iveson, Roselee (Doug) Miller, and Linda (Dave) Sutton. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, John Flint. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday June 4, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. from the Caskey-Mitchell Funeral Home, Stockbridge with Pastor Bob Castle officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Munith. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family.
