Agatha died July 6, 2012 at the age of 97. She was born in Nashville, TN in May of 1915. In December 1943 she married Grant Morgan. In 1951 they moved to Waterford, MI where she lived until 1996 when she and Grant moved to Chelsea Retirement Community. Agatha earned a B.A. from Vanderbilt University (1939) and a M.S. in Library Science from Wayne State University (early 1960s). She is survived by her son W. Scott Morgan and daughter-in-law Ginny Morgan, of Chelsea and granddaughters Megan Morgan-Finne of Charleston SC and Emily Morgan of Burlington VT. Agatha lived her last four years under the loving care of the Glazier staff at Chelsea Retirement Community. A memorial service will be held for Agatha on Friday, July 20 at 1:00 p.m. at the Chelsea Retirement Community Chapel with Rev. Cathy Rafferty officiating.
