Franklin R. Morris

Franklin R. Morris, of Munith, MI, age 80, died at his home on Saturday, November 24, 2018. He was born on April 2, 1938 in Wyandotte, MI the son of Ronald F. and Mary Ann (Huse) Morris.  On August 22, 1959 he married Evelyn E. Sauers, and she survives. Also surviving are two sons, Wayne (Katalin) Morris and Jeffrey (Kathleen) Morris, all of Wisconsin, one grandson, Pierce Morris, as well as two sisters, Sharon Morris of Canton, and Melody  Morris of Pennsylvania, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers, Edrow, Lloyd, and David Morris.

For 34 years he worked for General Motors as an a inspector. Frank was a veteran of the United States Air Force from 1955 to 1959.  His favorite pastimes were hunting, fishing, and cutting his grass.

Funeral services will be Thursday, November 29, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. from  the Staffan-Mitchell Funeral Home, Chelsea with long time friend Rev. Charles Harris officiating. Burial will take place at Michigan Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00  a.m. until the time of service. Expressions of sympathy can be made to the St. Louis Center.

Rest easy Uncle Frank. Give Gram and Gramps as well as mom and dad all a big hug for us. Tell Lloyd and David hello. Sorry we didn't see more of each other over the past few years and we will forever live with that regret. We love you and will see again.

Aunt Evelyn, Wayne, Kathy, Pierce, Jeff and Katie.... We love you and will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers.

We could not have asked for a more awesome neighbor he will be dearly missed by our entire family and our grandchildren may he rest in peace our thoughts and prayers are with the family
