William Kuhl

William Albert Kuhl, of Grass Lake, Michigan, age 76, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2019. He was born on June 1, 1942, in Saline, MI. He was the son of Walter and Geraldine (Gardner) Kuhl. He graduated from Chelsea High School in 1960.  He served in the army from 1961 to 1964, being honorably discharged with the ranking of Sargent after spending most of his time in Germany. He worked as a Journeyman Tool and Die Maker at Hatch Stamping, retiring from there in March 2016.

Bill enjoyed being with family, spoiling his grandkids, golfing, hunting and working on his rental properties. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Surviving are his children, Valerie (Patrick) Houle and Steven (Brandy) Kuhl; his grandchildren: Brendan, Cody, Abigail, Ella, Lillian, and Joseph; brother, Robert Kuhl. On April 6, 1968, he married the love of his life, Julie Anne (Coleman), and she preceded him in death on September 20, 2017.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 8, 2019, at the Staffan-Mitchell Funeral Home, Chelsea with Rev. Chuck McNeil officiating. Burial will follow at North Sharon Cemetery in Sharon Twp. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Grass Lake Senior Center.

Dave and I graduated with Bill. He was always so kind and a gentle man. The Chelsea High School class will miss him terribly at our 60th reunion next year. Our classmates have met every five years since our graduation in 1960. We always looked forward to seeing him there. Our sincere condolences to his family.

He was a Great Man and a Great Landlord to the people I know that rent from him/
Brother Bill will be Missed!! I worked with him at Hatch Cleaned apartments for him and I knew him I will be there on Monday to say Good bye to him he will be missed!! By Family and Friends Now him and Ginger are up with Julie AMEN :lol:
