Cynthia G. Burch

Cynthia G. Burch, age 63, of Brighton, MI, passed away on Friday, April 19, 2019 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, MI.  She was born on January 14, 1956 in LaRochelle, France, the daughter of John C. and Ardala (Hersch) Erskine.

Cindy had lived in the Brighton area for the past five years, moving from Hartland, MI. She devoted her life to raising her children and grandchildren. She loved spending time outdoors and taking long walks on trails. She was a social butterfly and was loved by everyone. Cindy had the gift of making everyone she spent time with feel special.

She is survived by her six children, Damion (Jennifer) Burch of Brighton, Jill (Sara) Burch of Ann Arbor, Rachel (Joseph) Johnson of Brighton, Sylvia (Sarah) Burch of Orlando, FL, David (Taylor) Burch of Brighton, and Becca (Adam Benham) Burch of Frisco, TX; eight grandchildren, Lyla Wisner of Ypsilanti, Ashur and Sophia Burch, both of Brighton, and Myles, Graham, Emmett, Reid, and Maverick Johnson, all of Brighton; one brother, John (LeAnna) Erskine of Jackson, Tammy (Bill) Dawson of Capac, and Karie (Mike) Bologna of Raleigh, NC; uncle, Jeff (Shelly) Erskine of Pinckney, and aunts, Joan (Michael) Dawsey of Charleston, SC and Jan Sundstrom of Tallahassee, FL; as well as many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her significant other, Patrick Campbell, and his son, Leo Campbell, of Brighton. She was preceded in death by her brother, Mike Erskine, as well as her mother and her father.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Staffan-Mitchell Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Arborcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5-8 p.m.

My condolences to my nieces and nephews and their families. Such a great loss Cindy was a fun loving person who will be missed by many. She is in Good Hands today please take comfort in that. God Bless all of you at this sad time. Love Aunt Marion
