Donald Pollok

Donald L. Pollok, of Stockbridge, MI, age 88, died July 9, 2019 in Lansing, MI. He was born March 13, 1931 in Mason, MI and was the son of Alton and Carolyn (Juderjohn) Pollok. He was a farmer and had lived in the Stockbridge area since 1965. He loved horses, John Deere tractors, and Tigers baseball. He played the fiddle and violin, and enjoyed dancing when he was able. In addition, he was a 4-H softball coach and liked playing Euchre, especially with his family around the holidays.

On Sept 24, 1960, he married Margie Burgess, and she survives. Also surviving are four children, Michelle Pollok of Ypsilanti, Mike Pollok of Stockbridge, Teresa (Mark) Jorgensen of Phoenix, AZ, and Lisa (Tom) Johnson of Eaton Rapids; four grandchildren, Benjamin Donald Walling, Johnathon Gerald (Heather) Walling, Kelsey Ellen Johnson, and Haley Jean Johnson; two great-grandchildren, Elijah Walling and Alexander Walling; brother, Dale Pollok of Williamston, and sister, Barbara Rendel of Perry, and sister-in-law, Marla Pollok of Perry. He was preceded in death by his brother, Benjamin Pollok.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2019, 11:00 a.m. at Millville United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery, Stockbridge. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 12, 2019 at Caskey-Mitchell Funeral Home, Stockbridge from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m., also on Saturday at church from 10-11 a.m.  A funeral luncheon at the Millville United Methodist Church will follow the burial.  Memorial contributions may be made to SAESA (Stockbridge Area Emergency Services Association).

so sorry to hear of Do0n's passing. He was so kind to use his horses at my mother's funeral. That is something my grandchildren will always remember. Our prayers are with you
