+2 #2 Jim & Pam 2019-10-02 16:01
35 years ago our lives changed forever when you joined our family. My mother gained a new best friend, her baby brother gained a new wife, Pam and I gained a new aunt, and we all gained a new family to cherish forever. The memories fill a photo album with days at the lake, group camping outings on holiday weekends, and the four of us meeting up all over the state to camp and eat Joe's goulash and your pickles. Our favorite memories will always be from a beautiful ranch house outside of Gregory where during the holidays two family's joined together as one and celebrated life and each other.
September 30th our lives changed forever again.
We love you and will miss you forever.
Say hello to my Uncle for me.

Aunt Vicki, I cannot tell you how heart broken I am as I write this. You and Uncle Joe have alway been so very special to me. I can’t say enough just how lucky I have been to have had you in my life. I can hear you now saying “Now Jolene” (usually it was followed by behave yourself or don’t worry about what the older girls are doing)......but this time I think it is more like “Now Jolene, don’t worry for me, I am free from my pain and here with Uncle Joe”. You always had time for me to bend your ear and I knew that you would listen and give me honest and heartfelt advice. Whether it was Jami and Jen picking on me over the years or just being there when I was trying to adjust to each new adventure the Coast Guard has taken us on, I always had you to talk to. I will hold close to my heart all the memories of the wonderful holidays at your house and many amazing family camping trips. I am greatful for just being lucky enough to be your niece. I Love you so very much.
