I worked next to Claude at the Proving Grounds. He and Larry Chapman were a team together following fleet car endurance. Really nice guy to work with and my heart is sad to hear of his passing. May the Lord bless his family and give comfort is my prayer.

Words alone can not express the way I feel right now. Uncle Claude and my Dad ( Jerry Wenk , my Mother Dixie and my Sister all deceased now we’re Uncle Claudes family ) He and my father were best friends he even stood up at my parents wedding. Every Sunday no matter what Uncle Claude would call me and I’m going to miss my Sunday calls ... we had many , many adventures together and my heart is broken. I know my Dad has been waiting for his best friend to come to heaven for a while !! And Moms probably saying THANK GOD leave me alone for a while.
