Nicole Lyn Vermeylen, age 50, of Stockbridge, MI, passed away on October 27, 2026.
Nicole was born on May 7, 1976 in St. Petersburg, FL, the daughter of David and Kim (Schultheis) Vermeylen. She graduated from Chelsea High School in 1994, and worked for University Microfilms in Ann Arbor. Nicole loved spending time outdoors, and lake life up north. She enjoyed spending time with her family, and her beloved dog, Maggie.
Nicole will be deeply missed by her fiance, James Clark; two children, Jacob Rouster of Grass Lake, and Riley Rozanski of Stockbridge; her parents, David and Kim Vermeylen of National City, MI; two brothers, Benjamin (Shanell) Vermeylen and Wesley Vermeylen, all of Grass Lake; nieces and nephews: Britany, Layla, Elijah, River, Emmet, Quinn, and Nolan; as well as many cousins. She was preceded in death by her twin sister, Ninete Vermeylen; her sister-in-law, Ashley Vermeylen; and her grandparents.
Nicole will be missed by those who loved her. May she rest peacefully and be held close in the hearts of her family.
Visitation will be held at Staffan-Mitchell Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., followed by a Memorial Service at 3:00 p.m., with Pastor Eric Stricklin officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Waterloo Township.
Memorial contributions may be made to an educational fund for her children, checks payable to James Clark.
