Barbara Jean Wilber, age 82, passed away peacefully on August 26, 2025. She was born on May 17, 1943, the eldest daughter of Raymond and Golda Weiner.
Barb is survived by her children, Patricia (Marc) Zucker and Kevin (Anne) Wilber; her beloved grandchildren: Megan (Matt) Manger, Eric Wilber and fiancée Jamie, Nicole Zucker, and Alex Zucker; and her three great-grandchildren: Grant, Chase, and Maylee Manger. She is also survived by her brothers, Raymond (Janet) Weiner, Randy Weiner, and Russell (Karen) Weiner. She was preceded in death by her sister, Beverly Scully.
Affectionately called “Bobbie” by her siblings, nieces, and nephews, Barb was a loving sister and friend.
Barb devoted her life to her family and home. She took great pride in being a housewife and was well-known for her wonderful cooking. A woman of faith, she was a true believer in Jesus Christ and shared her love generously with everyone she met. Barb had a kind heart, always going out of her way to give to others. She especially cherished her role as a grandmother, delighting in family gatherings, spoiling her grandchildren, and giving the very best hugs.
Barb will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and unwavering love of family. She leaves behind a lasting example of kindness and faith for all who knew her.
Visitation will be held at the Staffan-Mitchell Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 1:00 p.m., with Pastor Daniel Pezzica officiating.
Burial will take place at Washtenong Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Our Savior Lutheran Church in Chelsea.
