Cheryl D. (Coffman) Walls, age 79, of Gregory, MI passed away on July 4, 2026 at Chelsea Hospital in Chelsea, MI.
Cheryl was born on November 16, 1946 in Indianapolis, IN, the daughter of Richard and Nola (Means) Coffman. She graduated in 1964 from Arsenal Technical High School in Indianapolis.
Cher was always smiling and had the best attitude. She always saw the good in everything and everyone. She loved going to yard sales and thrift stores. Cher loved working at Mugg & Bopps and interacting with her community, where she was known by many as “Granny.” She loved spending time with her family, friends, and loved ones. She loved being a grandma and a Gigi. Her smile and laughter were contagious. She touched the hearts of everyone she met over the nearly 80 years she was here with us. Cher had a heart of gold and will be dearly missed.
Cher is survived by her grandchildren: Kristina, Jozie, Elijah, Angel, and Theresa; and great-grandchildren, Chloe and Britney; a brother, Bruce Coffman; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Joseph Walls Jr.; a brother, Dicky, sisters: Vernal and Mary Jane; and a grandson, Joseph III.
A private service will be held at a later date.
