Jacquelin A. Moody, age 83, of Munith, Michigan, passed away on April 7, 2026 at Chelsea Hospital in Chelsea, MI.
Jacquelin was born on November 6, 1942 in Detroit, MI the daughter of Frank and Viola (Fleming) Bruening. She had lived in the Munith area for the past 35 years, and before that she lived in Manchester, MI. On November 2, 1968, she married Richard C. Moody, and they enjoyed 42 years of marriage before his passing in 2010.
Jacquelin worked for many years as a financial advisor, eventually opening her own business, Park Avenue Financial, Inc. in Livonia. Jacquelin enjoyed showing horses, and she was a member of the Michigan Quarter Horse Association.
She is survived by two children, Jeff (Linda) Moody of Munith, and Michele (Terry) Lewis of Grass Lake; and two grandchildren, Dana and Karly.
Visitation will be held at the Staffan-Mitchell Funeral Home, Chelsea on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, from 5-7 p.m. A private burial will be held at Munith Cemetery.
