Sondra “Sunny” Rae Stough-Reynolds, age 84, of Grass Lake, Michigan, was welcomed into God's loving arms on October 31, 2026.
She was born on September 22, 1942, in Marion, Ohio, to John and Clarice (Wright) Ewing. Sunny spent most of her life in Ohio before moving to the Grass Lake area in 2021 to be closer to her family. Her faith was an important part of her life. She had a deep love for the Word of God and enjoyed sharing that faith with others. She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church in Grass Lake and Bible Study Fellowship in Jackson. She looked forward to her studies with the Word and the dear friendships she shared with the Bible Study Fellowship Group.
Sunny had a big heart and a special love for animals, especially horses. She enjoyed raising horses and spent many happy years surrounded by them, from the racetrack and fox hunting to countless hours in the barn. Her beloved dog, Nixon, and cat, Ivy, were also very special to her. Later in life, she developed a love of traveling and enjoyed many RV adventures, exploring different parts of the country and making wonderful memories along the way.
Most of all, Sunny will be remembered for what mattered most to her: her faith, her family, her love of animals, and the life she shared with those around her. She will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her daughter, Jennie (Shaun) Bach of Grass Lake; stepdaughter, Lori Dickson of San Diego, California; two grandchildren, Jonathan and Rusty; brother, Michael Sigal; sister-in-law, Lori Sigal; beloved family friend, Armand Lacayo; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Paul Sigal; stepdaughter, Jeri Stevens; her first husband, Walter "Buck" Stough; and her second husband, Donald Reynolds.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to Bible Study Fellowship, Harmony Baptist, or Norton Grace Brethren Church.
Arrangements by Staffan-Mitchell Funeral Home, Chelsea.
