Beverly Ann Bross, age 90, of Chelsea, MI, passed away peacefully on July 6, 2026, at the Chelsea Retirement Community.
Beverly was born on March 10, 1936, in Ann Arbor, Michigan, the daughter of Jacob and Mary (Helps) Nagel. On December 23, 1971, she married William H. Bross Jr. at Zion Lutheran Church in Chelsea. Together they shared 44 years of marriage until Bill's passing on January 12, 2016.
A lifelong resident of Washtenaw County, Beverly was a faithful member of St. John's United Church of Christ. She worked for many years as a bookkeeper and administrative assistant with Edward Surovell Realtors. Beverly found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved knitting, reading, doing puzzles and word searches, and decorating for Christmas. She also enjoyed camping, attending tractor shows, and following her favorite baseball and hockey teams.
Beverly is survived by her daughter, Karen Robinson of Ypsilanti; her son, Michael (Anita) Bross of Chelsea; two grandchildren, Ashley Robinson and Sarah Bross; five great-grandchildren: Marya, Jasmine, Mona, Huda, and Jinan; two sisters-in-law, Mary Nagel of Ann Arbor and Rachel Bross of Manchester; as well as several nieces and nephews, including Cindy, Mary, Gary, Steve, Dan, Ann, and Faith.
In addition to her husband, Bill, Beverly was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Luther Nagel; and her sister, Delores Palmer.
Visitation will be held at Staffan-Mitchell Funeral Home in Chelsea on Thursday, July 9, 2026, from 3:00 - 7:00 p.m., and on Friday from 10:00 until the time of the service.
Funeral services will be held at Staffan-Mitchell Funeral Home on Friday, July 10, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Lester Guest officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Freedom Township.
