Samantha R. Sparrow, age 34, of Ann Arbor, Michigan, passed away on December 21, 2025, at Michigan Medicine Hospital in Ann Arbor.
Samantha was born on October 4, 1991, in Warren, Michigan. She spent her childhood in Warren and later lived in Grass Lake and Saline before making her home in Ann Arbor. Samantha enjoyed watching TV, doing crafts, and spending time with her children. She was a Detroit Tigers fan and took great pride in being an active member of her Neighborhood Watch team.
On October 30, 2021, Samantha married Daniel D. Sparrow II, and he survives. Also surviving are her two children, Austin and Mira; her mother, Cynthia Wentworth; her siblings: Amanda (Mike McCormac) Presnell of Grass Lake, Ken Presnell Jr. of Jackson, Drake Morency of Ypsilanti, and Rebecca (Alex) Sparrow of Clinton; her grandmother, Joan Hayes of West Bloomfield; her stepfather, Steve Wentworth; her stepsister, Brandy Wentworth; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 26, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Staffan-Mitchell Funeral Home, 901 North Main Street, Chelsea, as well as on Saturday, December 27, 2025, from 10-11 a.m.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2025, 11:00 a.m., at Staffan-Mitchell Funeral Home, with Pastor Trish Farrell officiating.
